    About Marilyn

    Marilyn embarked on her journey into nursing education upon entering Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in Boston. After completing her nursing education, she furthered her studies at Fitchburg State University, earning a degree through their RN to BSN program. Throughout her career, Marilyn developed deep connections with patients and their families, grounded in trust and empathy, which continuously reminded her of the profound impact nursing has on people's lives.


    Like many of her colleagues, Marilyn dedicated years to working directly with patients in hospital settings, participating in pivotal moments of care. Her career path led her through various nursing specialties, including case management, catastrophic injury management, rehabilitation, legal nurse consulting, geriatrics, environmental and occupational medicine.


    As Marilyn's career evolved, she felt drawn to holistic approaches to health and healing. She pursued advanced education in holistic nursing and coaching, an experience that has been both enlightening and empowering. Marilyn believes in integrating traditional medical practices with holistic modalities to provide a comprehensive approach to health and well-being.


    Central to Marilyn's approach is her belief in addressing underlying root causes of health issues, rather than just treating symptoms, promoting long-term wellness and prevention. She finds fulfillment in guiding others to actively participate in their own care and make lifestyle choices that support their well-being, fostering empowerment, resilience, and vitality.


    Outside of her role as a Holistic Nurse Coach, Marilyn finds joy in outdoor activities. She enjoys peaceful walks with her dogs on wooded trails, spending time in nature, and nurturing her garden. Marilyn also finds pleasure in activities such as Jazzercise, yoga, kayaking, and swimming. She cherishes moments spent with her family, often retreating to Cape Cod to embrace the restorative power of the ocean and sea air.
